Drakstaden Mixtape: Mike's on it!

Pulled some good moves yesterday for the mixtape. Always a nice feeling
to do new stuff! I'm estimating we have around 5 minutes of film right now
the video will be around 10-12 minutes so we're almost half way there.

Mike's october bikecheck

Since I'm gonna change frame and other components on my bike soon
(I'm waiting to get my custom Solid frame, hopefully It'll be here soon)
I wanted to do a final bikecheck with my (current) trusty (and rusty) bike!

Lars comeback!?

If you're from Sweden and was into bmx around 2002-2005 or so you should know
about the "wonder kid" from sundsvall Lars Sjöholm, well Lars pretty much
stopped riding for a couple of years but made a comeback last week (actually
clocking some footage for the Drakstaden Mixtape we're working on!).


Let's hope it lasts for avail, Sweden needs more wallride's and brake tricks ;)

Deeds custom solid with Fortytwo handlebars

other day! Allthough the picture is bad it's an awesome bike with

Umeå trip

Took a trip by myself to Umeå last weekend to visit my friends Jens (thank you
for letting me stay with you and Sandra) Lill-David and Niklas. I took
my trusty Canon 550 d with me to film and take some pictures but ended up
riding the whole time instead. Had a great time and it was a great way to
end the outdoor season.

2011 Mito stem sneak peak!

Here's a sneak peak of the 2011 top loader. It's light, has a very good
grip area around the handlebars and has got a look like nothing else on
the market! The rise is 28,5mm.

The Mito stem will be available in Black and Dark Red, coming soon!

My 550D, t2i rig / handle

Looking around for a good rig/handle for my 550d (T2i in the US) HDSLR I
found them to be way overpriced and not suitable for extreme sports.
I wanted something for filming low angles when using the fish eye in
lines and static shots!

This is what I came up, call it the Fortytwobmx prototype 550d extreme
sports handle ;), using stuff I had laying around (a small square
tube, an old bmx-handlebar, a couple of grips, some old bar ends and a
quick release plate from a cheap tripod)!

We just started filming for a "Drakstaden mixtape" with this rig!
